RPA Developer

​​​​Sarajevo | Hybrid (3 office days, 2 remote days)

We’re supporting our client Starbyte, an international and stable tech company, in finding an experienced RPA Developer.

In this role, you will actively shape the future of automated processes and oversee the implementation of RPA solutions from concept to production. You will analyze existing workflows with stakeholders, identify automation opportunities, and translate them into robust, scalable software robots. Working closely with diverse internal roles, you will bring your technical expertise to ensure that automations are not only developed but also sustainably operated, enhanced, and successfully rolled out across the organization.

Responsibilities

• RPA Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and test software robots; manage the full lifecycle from concept to go-live, including documentation and quality assurance.

• Identify Automation Opportunities: Analyze existing processes with stakeholders, identify suitable candidates for RPA, and define concrete automation use cases.

• Operations & Continuous Improvement: Ensure stable operation of automations, monitor bots, resolve issues, and continuously enhance solutions to maximize efficiency and value.

• Bridge Technology & Business: Translate business requirements into technical automation solutions and advise stakeholders on optimal process design.

• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with various roles, align dependencies, and ensure smooth implementation of automation projects.

• Measure Impact: Define KPIs, track automation success, and derive targeted improvements based on data and feedback.

 

Required Qualifications

• Completed IT education (University) or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, Tungsten Automation and software automation (Master’s degree may substitute 3 years; Bachelor’s degree 2 years).

• Experience with agile software development processes.

• Advanced SQL skills.

• Strong affinity for process automation and digitalization, with interest in AI and practical applications of AI agents.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, flexible and organized work style, and ability to quickly learn new topics.

• Excellent English

 

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Knowledge of JavaScript or similar programming languages.

• Experience in AI-driven automation or related technologies.

• Familiarity with process optimization methodologies.

• Knowledge of German at B1/2 level.
