Last weekend we successfully held our first Popcorn Recruiters Academy. We could not be more proud of our trainers: Anja Bećirspahić, Andrea Todić, Farah Zeba, and Nikola Marić for putting in all the work to organize this event and for selflessly sharing all of their recruitment industry knowledge.

The aim of this two-day event was to gather students and recent graduates who have a desire to build their careers in the areas of HR and recruitment. Through practical workshops, participants could gain insight into full-cycle recruitment, what’s it like to conduct an interview, build Boolean strings, write agency brief, and launch a recruitment marketing campaign.

Even though the entire event was moved online, the crowd did not lack enthusiasm and was able to have a great time!

I was a bit concerned about the training because it is very difficult to keep the attention and still get the knowledge through even though we were online. But the organization was amazing and the presentations were so well made, that they managed to grasp our attention and keep it on the entire time. As someone who is a beginner in this field, I feel empowered to take the first step towards a career change and to learn more about it.

Wow, what a wonderful experience to be a part of. The best thing about this workshop is that each theoretical part was explained in practice as well. This experience was of great importance for me because it helped me develop and direct my professional identity in the right direction. It helped me to discover which things I already know and areas in which I lack knowledge and experience, but it also gave me a chance to learn and develop some new skills and get so much valuable practical knowledge and experience in the field of recruitment and HR management. I am very happy that I got the chance to learn from great lecturers and to get familiar with their wonderful company culture and values.
